Adelle, Deputy Head Student, gained 3 A*s in Maths, Art and Biology and an A* in her Extended Project Qualification. She is going to the University of Reading to study Art and Psychology and with the aim of becoming an artist or art therapist.

Adelle said, “I joined in Year 7 and feel the school has helped me to work hard without putting pressure on me. I’ve enjoyed getting the grades. The teachers don’t stress you at St Joseph’s, but encourage you to get better. As well as studying, I’ve also really enjoyed choir.”

Mikayel joined St Joseph’s two years ago from Armenia, so English is his second language.  He has also completed an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) course alongside his A levels to assist with his university entrance.

Mikayel achieved an A* in Maths, A* in Further Maths and a B in Physics. “I am feeling very good, excited and relieved,” he said. “I’m heading off to do Electronic Engineering at Southampton. I hope to continue my studies after that with a Masters and PhD in Electronic Engineering; I aim to be the next Elon Musk!”

Twins Charlotte and Gemma joined St Joseph’s in Year 4. Gemma, a former Music Prefect, achieved an A*, two As and an A* in her EPQ is going to Bournemouth University to study Law.

Charlotte, a former Dixon House Captain, achieved two A*s, an A and an A* in her EPQ. She has a place at Sussex University to study Business and Management Studies.

Both talented musicians and singers, they took part in the recent London Mozart Players concert held at the College.
