Dr Margaret Cross is a former pupil of the College. After a short period in academic research, she taught for a number of years in both state and independent schools, and is a former OFSTED inspector. As an education consultant, Margaret has had extensive experience in curriculum development and assessment. She is a former Chair of Examiners for A Level Chemistry, International O Level, and International GCSE as well as having been a Chief Examiner for A Level Chemistry and the Advanced Extension Award.
Margaret has been a governor since 2006. She is a Governor and Vice-Chair Safeguarding. She chairs the Safeguarding Committee and she is also the chair of the Remuneration Committee.
