The winners and runners-up of the 2020 Headmaster’s Scholarship Award have been announced. In recognition of the 125th anniversary of the foundation of the College last year, pupils were set the challenge over the summer holidays to complete a project on “How the world has changed during the last 125 years.”
Since we are currently unable to visit museums, Year 1 invited staff and pupils to their very own St Joseph’s Toy Museum. As part of their History topic, Toys, the museum featured toys from the past and present, handmade leaflets, a café, guided tours, an interactive play area and tickets on the door, providing the full museum experience.
On Thursday 12 November, our Music Department performed their second socially distanced Virtual Music Concert this autumn term. From Year 4 to Year 13, pupils sung and performed a wide variety of musical pieces, ranging from the ‘Wallace and Gromit’ theme tune, and an a capella adaptation of Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ to the more classical compositions by Domenico Cimarosa and Carl Maria von Weber.
