I was born in the north-west of England, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Lake District. Following a 14-year career in banking, I gradually made my way south and eventually settled in Reading, where I crossed paths with my husband, David. Our recent adventures took us to the UAE, where I worked with the leading education group in Abu Dhabi, Aldar Education. Now, we have returned to Emmer Green, readjusting to our surroundings.
With a background as an HR Director, I’ve dedicated two decades to Human Resources, earning accreditations such as Chartered MCIPD, MAHRM, and an MBA. Over the past seven years, I’ve shifted gears, engaging in the dynamic world of education, and taking on operational roles at Crosfields School and Reading Blue Coat School.
In my leisure time, I find joy in cinema visits and immersing myself in the melodies of jazz. An enthusiastic supporter of Gregory Porter, I relish moments spent savouring his music.
