Young Enterprise enters the Dragon’s Den

Tuesday evening saw one of our fledgling Young Enterprise companies take flight and pitch their products to a range of business people in the annual Dragon’s Den event.

De-Jar-Vu, who are busy preparing to launch their range of sustainable candles, did an excellent pitch to explain their company’s mission statement, core values, marketing and pricing strategies. The Dragons, a panel of three local business experts, grilled the team on their sustainability credentials, target demographic, social media presence and profitability. The Dragons were delighted to see some prototype candles and loved the simplicity of the business idea, logo and manufacturing process. They also commented that they ‘loved the name’ – high praise indeed.

Our young entrepreneurs will be selling their fabulous products at the forthcoming St Joseph’s College Christmas Fayre which runs between 1.00pm and 3.30pm on Saturday 26 November, and again closer to Christmas in the Oracle Shopping Centre.
