Last month, St Joseph’s College came together for a whole College assembly to reflect on our Movember efforts and the importance of supporting men’s health. The focus of the event was on encouraging open conversations, checking in on one another and raising awareness of issues that too often go unspoken.

Throughout November, many of our staff and Sixth Form students took on the challenge of growing a moustache to help spark those conversations. From neat and tidy efforts to some slightly more questionable styles, every moustache served as a reminder of why Movember matters. Even Mrs Stotesbury and Mrs Jwaideh joined in with their own contribution, helping keep spirits high while supporting the cause.
A massive thank you goes to all students and staff who took part, offered encouragement, or donated. Your involvement helped reinforce the message that talking about men’s health is vital, and that no one should face challenges alone.
Although Movember has ended, it’s not too late to make a difference. Every donation continues to support essential men’s health initiatives.
