Yesterday, staff and pupils at St Joseph’s College sported yellow clothes and accessories to raise awareness for the charity, Young Minds and their #HelloYellow campaign. Some of our community chose subtle splashes of colour, while others dressed like sunshine from head-to-toe; we even spotted a banana in Year 10’s Biology class!
Young Minds recognise that the crisis in children and young people’s mental health is real and urgent, with more children and young people than ever before reaching out for help with their mental health. Young Mind’s aim to ensure that all young people get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s challenges. They are fighting for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges.
We were extremely pleased to be involved with such an important cause, showing young people they’re not alone with their mental health.
