Student Voice

Year Representatives and School Council

The School Council is chaired by the Head Students Team and attended half termly by two elected Year Representatives. The aim is to discuss matters that fall outside of the various committees and support with the implementation of the Head Students Project. Year Representatives are the voice of the year group as well as establishing and maintaining a good spirit in the College. They take a lead role in organising year group events and meet regularly with the Head of Year.

Section Council

Section Councils chaired by the Head of Year, meet once every half term and consist of Form Captains and Committee Members in addition to the Year Group Representatives. All pupils can raise suggestions/issues via direct contact with Form Captains/Year Group Representatives, or via email, which can either be considered within the Section Council or passed on to the appropriate committee.

Other Committees

In addition to the School and Section Councils, there will also be the opportunity for pupils to join the following committees: Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Eco Committee, Digital Champions Committee, Enrichment Committee, Catering Committee and the Chaplaincy and Charities Committee.
