Year 1 Toy Museum Opens

What a lovely welcome was waiting for visitors to the Prep Hall recently.

It had been transformed into a Toy Museum set up and run by Year 1. On arrival, pupils were on hand to sanitise hands, supply tickets and give out programmes. The Museum cafe was fully staffed and serving delicious snacks and drinks.

A range of displays were set out showing toys belonging to grandparents, parents and pupils. The pupils were very helpful patiently answering questions and sharing information about the toys and books.

A special guest speaker, Mrs Stotesbury came along to talk about her favourite childhood toys and showed her teddy Andy the Andrex Puppy born the same day as her, plus her favourite childhood jigsaw puzzle.

Well done Year 1, we look forward to visiting again next year!
