Alumni enjoy reminiscing and reconnecting with old friends

29.06.2022

Our Alumni Day 2022 was a huge success with over 100 guests, some visiting for the first time since leaving St Joseph’s several decades ago and reconnecting with old friends. On arrival, guests were greeted with a welcoming glass of bubbly and treated to performances by our music students and the Prep School choir.

Mrs Stotesbury introduced herself as the new Head of St Joseph’s and guests reminisced about their time at the College over a delicious three-course lunch.

Siobhan (1974-1981) shared her thoughts about the event with us:

“I just wanted to say what a fantastic event you hosted for us “old girls” today – it really was wonderful to be part of it. I ran the Old Girls’ Association for 10 years and was also on the board of governors for a while but never in all my time did I see an event so professional, well run and well attended as today. And the catering was sublime – please pass on my grateful thanks to the relevant people. The school appears to be absolutely thriving in its current form which is very heartening to see – congratulations and well done to all of you who continue to nurture it and keep it such a very special place.”

We look forward to seeing even more of you next year. If you haven’t yet joined our Alumni Network, you can do so here https://alumni.sjcr.org.uk
