We are delighted to introduce the newest members of staff at St Joseph’s College. Each brings a wealth of experience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with young people.
Mr Kaye – Physics & Assistant Head of Upper Seniors
Mr Kaye studied Crime Scene Science before training to teach Physics. His career has taken him to London, China, and York before joining us. Inspired by coaching basketball, he values making a difference in young people’s lives. He enjoys photography, video games, spicy food, and obstacle courses – completing three races on three continents in 2023.
Dr Williams – Chemistry
With a PhD in Chemistry from Canada, Mrs Williams has taught at universities in Canada and the US. Now in her first UK teaching role, she is passionate about helping pupils see they can succeed in challenging subjects. She enjoys cooking, travelling, and spending time outdoors.
Mrs Perini – Maths
Originally from the United States, Mrs Perini has taught in Turkey and Jordan before moving to the UK this year. She loves outdoor activities such as running and swimming, as well as good food and coffee.
Miss Ismail – Subject Lead: Food and Nutrition
After studying at the University of Reading and training in London, Miss Ismail taught in the capital for 10 years before returning locally. Alongside teaching, she works as a therapist and enjoys family life with her two sons and puppy, Bella. She also loves cooking, the gym, and a good cup of tea.
Ms Devine – Director of Music and The Arts
An experienced leader in both music and pastoral care, Ms Devine has held senior roles in a variety of schools. She is passionate about inspiring creativity and confidence in young people and is excited to lead the arts at St Joseph’s.
