Victory for St Joseph’s College at Lingfield MUN

15.12.2025

In December, students from St Joseph’s College attended the annual Lingfield College Model United Nations (MUN), representing France, Somalia and Mexico. For the first time ever, the College achieved the prestigious distinction of being named the Distinguished Delegation, taking home the overall winning trophy!

Competing against teams from London and across the South of England, St Joseph’s students also enjoyed individual successes. Freya and Tumi triumphed in the Health and Youth Committees, while the French delegation, comprising Freya, Noah, Lahari, Ethan, Neiva and George, secured the overall team victory.

This marks a highly successful end to the term and follows a year of outstanding achievements for St Joseph’s public speaking students. Earlier highlights include winning the Rotary Youth Speaks competition in November, multiple individual awards, and ranking among the top five teams overall at the 25th annual Cheadle Hulme School MUN Conference in October.

St Joseph’s College is proud of the dedication, teamwork and skills demonstrated by its students throughout a remarkable year of competition.
