Virtual Music Concert

23.07.2020

Welcome to our Summer Term Concert. Produced in such difficult times, we wanted to celebrate two things; first, all the work completed by the GCSE and A Level students before we went into lockdown, and secondly, the many activities that have been happening during our spell in isolation.

The concert is also the product of a project set for Louis Upton-Wheeler, on of our Year 13 A Level Music students, to replace his A Level exams once they were cancelled. Louis has been awarded a place at Abbey Road Institute to study Production and Sound Engineering and so, it seemed the perfect opportunity to ask him to produce our virtual concert in preparation for his course in the Autumn. We hope you will agree that he has done a splendid job!

Finally, we are delighted to include a piece produced in isolation by the London Mozart Players with whom we now have a musical partnership. They have led the way over the past few months in multi-tracked concerts, lectures and events and we hope soon to be able to work them again in person.

Enjoy!
